11.5.4 Changing the Yealink Desktop phone profile
When a Yealink Desktop phone is provisioned with the generic Yealink Desktop profile, SIP encryption is not supported. In order to enable encrypted SIP on these phones, the provisioning profile of the phone needs to be changed into the specific profile of the phone model. See B.1 SIP encryption to verify that encrypted SIP is supported for your Yealink model.
