4.6.1 Display/renew administrative password for desk phones
For certified Yealink SIP phones as well as SwyxPhone and SwyxDECT systems, you can define the manufacturer-specific settings via the web interface of the respective manufacturer. Swyx
You can find the IP address on the device (e.g. for Yealink under Menu | Status), or you can find the details in the documentation of the respective manufacturer.
To access the settings, you need the administrative password. This password is set automatically when your customer system is installed and applies to all phones provided in your network.
 
The administrative password can be generated again if required. As soon as you click on Renew, all end devices are reprovisioned and the new password applies for the next login to the telephone or DECT base station.
 
To manage the administrative password
1 In the menu, select General Settings | System.
2 Click on Provisioning.
3 In the Administrative device password for certified phones field, click .
*The password is displayed.
or
4 Click on .
*The password is stored in your clip board.
or
5 Click on Renew to create a new password.
*All devices are provided new. The new password is distributed and can be used after a short time when logging in to the local web interface.
