PSTN Settings
1. Click on the left in the tree structure on "VoIP | PSTN | Trunk Settings".
If the trunk is active, all setting options are deactivated. In order to activate them, click on "Stop Trunk" at the bottom right.
2. For "Protocol Type", choose the entry "BRI EURO ISDN".
3. Under "Clock Master", select whether the clocking for this trunk will be taken from the connection ("Recovered") or a separate clock will be generated ("Generated").
4. For "ISDN Termination Side" select "User side". Choose the entry "Network side", if ISDN phones or sub-telecommunication systems will be attached to the trunk.
5. Set "BRI Layer 2 Mode" to "Point To Point" or "Point To Multipoint" according to the connection type.
6. For "Outgoing Calls Behavior", select the value "0x402" to ensure that Overlap Dialing works.
7. Click on "Submit" at lower right.
8. Then click at lower right on "Apply Trunk Settings", to restart the trunk with the amended settings.
Media Settings
1. Click on the left in the tree structure on "VoIP | Media | Fax/Modem/CID Settings".
2. For "CNG Detector Mode", choose the entry "Events Only".
3. Click on "Submit" at lower right.
