System overview
The operating system of any SwyxDECT 800 base station contains the software components master or slave base. The Master software component is only active in the base station of the DECT system.

All base stations are connected via LAN, with only the DECT Master having a logical connection to the telephony system.
All base stations in the system are DECT radios. They are the software interface between DECT and VoIP signaling, and communicate via SIP protocol only with the DECT master.
