All SwyxWare services can create and save run protocols, so-called traces (Log) in a corresponding file. These trace files help to identify errors.

The Swyx Trace Tool simplifies the settings of tracing for the individual services. It is installed along with the SwyxServer. The trace range of the SwyxWare services is set to default values after the installation. The SwyxWare servises will be continually generating log files.

Events that occur during the configuration of SwyxWare are recorded in the Windows Installer tracing. For further information please refer to chapter Tracing during installation.
