Connection of Mobile Phones Users within the SwyxMobile Scenario Mobile Phone User (MEU)

Mobile Phone User (MEU)
As a SwyxWare user you are associated with your mobile phone in the SwyxWare-Administration in your user properties on the "Mobile Extensions" tab.
If you use SwyxIt!, you can also execute this assignment yourself, in the option "Settings | Configure Call Forwardings | Mobile Extensions". In order for you to do this, the administrator in the SwyxWare-Administration must have activated the option "Change settings of Mobile Extensions" in your user rights under "Functional Permissions" (default setting) For further information please refer to chapter Feature Profile.
In order to ensure the authentication of the mobile phone user on the MobileExtensionManager, his mobile number, the caller number and possibly a mobile ID must be defined in the "Mobile Extensions" tab.
Incoming calls to the user's public or internal number are then signaled to all his terminal devices, e.g. SwyxPhone and/or SwyxIt!in the office, and also to his mobile phone. The user can thus be reached with his usual office number at any time on his mobile phone too. There is no longer any need to distribute his mobile number.
Group calls to mobile phone users
If group calls are to be forwarded via the MobileExtensionManager to the mobile phone, you configure this in the group properties. For further information please refer to chapter The "Properties…" Dialog The “General” Tab.
This is how you define the settings for use of the mobile extensions
1. Select the relevant user in the user table.
2. In the context menu select "Properties", in order to call up the properties dialog for the user.
3. Click on "Forwardings".
4. Click on the "Mobile Extensions" tab.
5. Activate the checkbox "Enable Mobile Extension functionality for this user".
6. In the field "Number of mobile Phone", enter the user's mobile number in canonical number format (e.g. +49171987555)
This number is used for associating the mobile phone with the user. Calls coming in to SwyxServer for the user are put through to this mobile number.
7. Enter caller number / Mobile ID:
*The caller number is the caller ID from the mobile phone and is used on the MobileExtensionManager for authentication for making outgoing calls. It is normally identical to the number given in "Number of mobile Phone".
*The mobile ID is a numeric sequence (e.g. 1357) and can optionally be defined here as well as in the SwyxIt! Mobile client on the mobile phone.
An incoming call is generally identified and authenticated by the signaled number. For this purpose, the MobileExtensionManager checks whether the signaled number is configured for one of the SwyxMobile users. If so, the incoming call is associated with this user and the caller can use the SwyxMobile functions.
If the number is not configured on SwyxServer or is not signaled, the MobileExtensionManager checks whether a mobile ID is being transmitted. If this is defined for the user, the incoming call is authenticated and the user can use all SwyxMobile functions.
Multiple caller numbers (e.g. when a twin card is used) or mobile IDs can be entered, separated by a semicolon.
If the SwyxIt! Mobile client is used on the mobile phone, this mobile ID must likewise be stored there under "Settings".
*
All numbers must be given in the canonical number format (incl. plus). The MobileExtensionManager distinguishes from the format whether it is dealing with a number or a mobile ID.
*
Please note that an authentication from the mobile phone extends the call setup, as the individual digits of the mobile ID are transmitted via DTMF sequence from the mobile phone to the SwyxServer. Also, the mobile ID must be unique, i.e. it cannot already be configured for another user.
8. Click on “OK”.
Disable Connect to SwyxIt! Mobile
If you want to disable the signaling of some calls to SwyxIt! Mobile, e.g. at certain times, please use a Call Routing Manager script. You can deactivate the delivery to the mobile devices in the "Connect to" block.
