Standby parameters for the standbySwyxServer
If you have installed a SwyxServer, and specified in doing so that this server is to be a standby server, then the standby configuration starts automatically afterwards.
You have to install and configure both systems using a windows domain account which has administrative rights on both systems.
This is how you configure the standby parameters of a standby SwyxServer
1. You have to run the standby configuration for a SwyxServer using a windows account which has administrative rights on both systems.
2. SQL Server Agent Account:
Enter here the domain user account under which the SQL Server Agent is started on the master system.
A database user will be set up on the standby system for this user account.
3. Close the Konfigurationsassistenten afterwards with “Finish”.
The configuration of the standby SwyxServer is terminated. The SwyxServer service is started after the configuration.
