Before an ISDN trunk is set up in the SwyxWare-Administration, the ISDN card must be installed.

There are various connection types, which differ according to the provision of the service provider (see PSTN Access), as well as different operating modes on the SwyxWare itself (see Connection Types for the ISDN Lines).
