SwyxConnect connecting to SwyxWare
Documentation is supplied with SwyxConnect.
For this reason, the procedures for installing and configuring SwyxConnect will only be described in brief here.
In the configuration of SwyxConnect,
*the data for the connection to the SwyxServer is specified
On the SwyxServer side, this connection is configured as a SIP gateway trunk (see How to configure a SIP gateway trunk)
*the local connection to the public network is defined
You can choose here between no connection, analog connection (with additional adapter) or ISDN
*users are specified.
There are various users in a SwyxConnect:
*Extensions
Up to 8 (32 with additional option) SIP users can be created. These can be SIP devices or SIP software clients, connected via LAN, WLAN and DMZ.
*ISDN users
ISDN users are all devices that are connected via the ISDN network, including all ISDN and analog devices that are connected to a superordinate ISDN telecommunication system.
*Analog users
Up to two devices can be connected to the analog interfaces.
For all devices that should be usable on SwyxConnect, a user must be created.
*
Any changes to the configuration of SwyxConnect must also be made in the configuration of the SIP gateway trunk.
