13.2 Office Communication Add-In features
After installing the Communication Add-In, you can see the SwyxIt! Classic user status in the MS Office applications, you can make calls directly from MS Office contact cards, and you can see the SwyxIt! Classic status message.
To see the SwyxIt! Classic user status
The status of another internal SwyxIt! Classic subscriber (e.g. ringing, speaking, logged on, away etc.) is displayed in MS Office applications (e.g. in Outlook) as a coloured box next to the name.
To make SwyxIt! Classic calls directly from your MS Office contact cards
1 Hover the mouse over the coloured box to open the Outlook contact card.
2 Click on the handset icon to make a call via SwyxIt! Classic.
To see the SwyxIt! Classic status message on MS Office contact cards
1 Hover the mouse over the coloured box to open the Outlook contact card.
2 Click on the arrow to extend the contact card. The status message, which the user has set in SwyxIt! Classic is shown in the headline.
