SwyxWare consists of various components.

the SwyxServer takes care of call handling (e.g. transferring calls to another extension, the public telephone network or to your Voice Box) and manages the devices as well as the users which use it for communication purposes.

SwyxGate is a supplementary component for SwyxServer and it enables you to make calls in the public telephone network.

SwyxPhone Is a desk telephone that is not plugged into a traditional telephone socket, but rather to the PC network. You can operate SwyxPhone like any other desk telephone. Further information about the available terminal devices can be found under E.1 Overview of available devices.

SwyxIt! Classic is your telephone on the PC screen. You normally make calls using the SwyxIt! Handset, which is operated just like a normal telephone handset.
