15 Installing and Uninstalling SwyxIt!
This chapter describes how to both install and uninstall SwyxIt! and the external audio devices (SwyxIt! Handset and/or SwyxIt! Headset).
After the installation has been completed successfully, you will find, according to the installation configuration, a link to SwyxIt! on your desktop, and SwyxIt! in the Windows Start menu/ Windows startup menu.
When uninstalling SwyxIt!, please note that some data can only be deleted manually from the respective directory. This includes the trace files in the user directory of the operating system (%LOCALAPPDATA%\Swyx\SwyxIt!\Traces) and the encrypted credentials of the SwyxIt! user in the Windows registry (Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Swyx\CommonLogin\CurrentVersion\Options\).
