26.1 Internet connection via RemoteConnector
Remote Connector for SwyxIt! is a SwyxWare service that enables and manages the connection of SwyxWareclients to SwyxServer or SwyxStandbyservers from the Internet. A direct TLS-encrypted connection is set up between the server and the client.

settings of the RemoteConnector for SwyxIt! have no influence on the RemoteConnector for Yealink.

Registrations via the Internet with a Windows user account (local domain) are not possible.
Ensure that you have configured authentication for the user via user name and password or federated authentication via an identity provider. see 11.2.1.2 The "Authentication" Tab
 
A subscriber with SwyxIt! Classic installed and configured can log-on to SwyxServer and use SwyxWare telephony from his/her home office and via any type of Internet connection almost without any restrictions.

The user list of SwyxWare Administration shows whether the user is currently connected to one of his clients via RemoteConnector:
In this case, the column "via RemoteConnector" contains a "Yes".
