The account table is used to configure SIP accounts. To use the SwyxConnect 5000/8000 with Swyx, set up a SIP account here for each PSTN trunk. In other words, for each SIP gateway trunk configured in Swyx, set up a one-to-one SIP account on SwyxConnect with identical configuration data (username, password). There is therefore a one-to-one relationship between PSTN trunks from SwyxConnect, SIP accounts from SwyxConnect, and SIP gateway trunks from Swyx.

You can also use SwyxConnect to connect ISDN or analog phones, each of which is assigned to a Swyx user. In this case, configure a SIP account for each phone in the Accounts table using the exact same SIP login credentials as the Swyx user at to whom you want to assign the phone.
