App. J: Provision of Statistics and Traps via SNMP

Using statistical data, the administrator can quantify Swyx's availability via SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol).

It is possible to monitor Swyx's availability. In addition to the entries in the Windows Event Log, Swyx now offers the option to generate so-called SNMP traps or retrieve performance metrics via SNMP read requests.

In order to be able to use these functions, Windows SNMP Support must be installed as a Windows component. Windows SNMP Support is a Windows Server component.
