E.5 Traces of the Swyx Services
All Swyx services can create and save run protocols, so-called traces (Log) in a corresponding file. These trace files help to identify errors.
History logs are preset for deletion after 7 days. Please observe the respective applicable legal regulations. Please observe this in particular if you change the settings for memory restriction.
The Swyx Trace Tool simplifies the settings of tracing for the individual services. It is installed along with the SwyxServer. The trace range of the Swyx services is set to default values after the installation. The Swyx services will be continually generating log files.
Events that occur during the configuration of Swyx are recorded in the Windows Installer tracing. See E Tracing during installation .
