12.4 Use Univeral Clipboard
The Universal Clipboard lets you copy content such as text, photos, and videos on one of your Apple devices and transfer it to another of your Apple devices. This function is supported by the following devices and operating systems:
iOS 10 or newer
macOS Sierra or newer
*iPhone 5 or newer
*iPad Pro (all models)
*iPad (4. Generation or newer
*iPad Air (all models)
*iPad mini 2 or newer
*iPod touch (6. Generation or newer
*MacBook from 2015 or newer
*MacBook Pro from 2012 or newer
*MacBook Air from 2012 or newer
*Mac mini from 2012 or newer
*iMac from 2012 or newer
*iMac Pro
*Mac Pro from 2013 or newer
*Mac Studio

To copy entire files from one Mac to another using the Universal Clipboard, both devices must have macOS High Sierra or later installed.
 
Your devices must be in close proximity to each other and the following requirements must be met:
*Each of your devices is logged into iCloud with the same Apple ID
*Bluetooth is enabled on each of your devices
*WLAN is enabled on each of your devices
*Handoff is enabled on each of your devices
To use the Universal Clipboard 
1 Copy text, photos, or other content on one of your devices as you normally would.
*The content will be automatically added to the clipboard of your other device that is nearby.
*Paste the content on the other device as usual.
