A.2 Distribution of Calls according to Default extension
As of VisualGroups version 1.8.2240, the ECR script no longer routes calls to a user by the user's name, but by the user's default extension (if not disabled). Therefore, an external device must be connected to the default extension if the user wants to use it for VisualGroups.
Calls in the queue are delivered to the number selected as the default line. If there is a group number behind it, for example, the routing is done to this number and not to the user's number.
If the queue number is set as the default line, all calls to the user will be forwarded back to the queue and the user will not receive the calls.
If no line is selected as the default, line 1 and the associated configuration is used.
Example:
A user has the extension 100 and is a VisualGroups user. He can therefore only be reached within VisualGroups via extension 100.
A: The number 100 is assigned with SwyxIt! A call to this number will be routed to the VisualGroups queue.
B: A user's desk telephone has the call number 101. A call to this number will not be routed to the queue.
