The "Deliver to mobile" function signals an incoming call to the user on their cell phone at the same time.
This function can also be activated for group calls so that incoming calls are forwarded to all mobile devices of the respective group members, e.g. for on-call services.
The user can accept or ignore the call. In the case of a group call, an unanswered call may be forwarded to the next group member.
The "Deliver to mobile" function must not be confused with parallel call signaling (Mobile extension ). The latter is a simple redirection function that is configured in the user properties. However, if the "Deliver to mobile" function is used, the "mobile extension" should be deactivated for these users in order to avoid double signaling and conflicts in call processing.
Requirements
In order to use the "Deliever to mobile" function, a mobile number must be stored in the Swyx Control Center for each user concerned. You can either do this as the administrator or let the users enter their own mobile number themselves.
These entries are automatically read out and used in the GSE script as the mobile destination number for the respective user or group member.
To enter the user's mobile phone number
1 In the menu, select User.
For administrators, a list appears with all Users.
2 As administrator, click on in the line of the appropriate user.
3 Select Numbers in the menu.
4 Select the tab Mobile.
5 Enter the user's mobile phone number in the Mobile number field.
6 Click on Save.
Incoming calls are to be signaled to the mobile number entered according to the script configuration.
7 Enter the mobile numbers for all desired users.
8 Create the GSE script as described in the next section.
