The Master is an interface between the SwyxDECT 800 base station and SwyxServer. The Master manages the handsets associated to the system. It stores in a database information about the handsets that are configured and logged-on, and which slave base station each handset is currently connected to. That is the base station which last received a location registration message from the handset. Using this Information the Master is able to deliver a call to or from a handset to the matching base station. This minimizes the communication load in the overall system.
