Installation at multiple locations
The scenario shows the installation of one or more SwyxDECT 800 base stations at different locations. SwyxServer and the DECT master are placed centrally.

Air synch areas are used to connect different locations. A synch area is allocated to each location, and has to be entered into the air synch master and into the according slaves.
The handsets SwyxPhone D210, SwyxPhone D310 and SwyxPhone D311 can be used in the different locations, where they can answer incoming calls and/or make outgoing calls (roaming). It is also possible to transfer an active call to another DECT radio base station, provided the range of the base stations overlaps (handover) (
see Air synchronization).
