19 Installing and Uninstalling SwyxIt! (SwyxIt! Classic)
SwyxIt! Classic is part of SwyxIt! as of version 14.00. A new skin is available from this version. In addition to SwyxIt! Classic, this version also includes the new SwyxIt! App. You can switch on the skin between SwyxIt! Classic and the new SwyxIt! App. See 4.6.8 The View Menu.

This chapter describes how to use SwyxIt! (SwyxIt! Classic\SwyxIt! App) and external audio devices (SwyxIt! Handset or SwyxIt! Headset) can be installed and uninstalled again.
After the installation has been completed successfully, you will find, according to the installation configuration, a link to SwyxIt! on your desktop, and SwyxIt! in the Windows Start menu/ Windows startup menu.
When uninstalling SwyxIt!, please note that some data can only be deleted manually from the respective directory. This includes the trace files in the user directory of the operating system (C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Local\Swyx\SwyxIt!\Traces) as well as the encrypted access data of the SwyxIt! user in the Windows registry (Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Swyx\CommonLogin\CurrentVersion\Options\).
