19.3.2 Custom Setup Installation
During the installation, you can install certain functions and components for SwyxIt! Classic.
SwyxIt! Classic Components:
*Grafischer Skript Editor
This component expands the Call Routing Manager to enable a graphical representation to be shown during the process of creating rules for call handling. See also help.enreach.com/cpe/latest.version/GSE/Swyx/en-US/index.html#context/extended_call_routing_$.
*Video
This component enables a video connection to another SwyxIt! Classic. You can then talk face to face with your call partner by video (10.23 Video).
*TeamViewer
The TeamViewer plugin offers collaboration functions via TeamViewer. This lets you show your conversation partner your screen contents during a call, and, if necessary, even give him access to your computer (10.14 Collaboration by mouse click).
*Outlook AddIn
This component enables the integration of Outlook as of version 2010 and later, see 14 Microsoft Outlook – Telephoning with SwyxIt! Classic.
*Office Communication Add-In
With this component it is possible to see the SwyxIt! Classic user status when showing the Microsoft Office contacts, and to initiate a call with SwyxIt! Classic from a Microsoft Office contact card, see 13 SwyxIt! Classic Status signaling of Microsoft Office contacts.
*Swyx Connector für Microsoft Teams
This component makes it possible to integrate central telephony functions from Swyx into Microsoft Teams. See Swyx Connector for Microsoft Teams.
*Use MS Teams Connector preferences
This component improves the Microsoft Teams Connector experience (skin, call-related display and hiding of the skin)
*Notes plugin
This component enables the integration of Lotus/IBM/HCL Notes. For the complete installation of all Lotus/IBM/HCL Notes functions, a further installation step is required, see 15.1 Swyx Connector für Notes Installation.
*Swyx VisualContacts
This component enhances SwyxIt! Classic by integrating Swyx ContactServer. Swyx ContactServer is a server application and merges different data bases into a single consistent LDAP directory (16 VisualContacts and DATEV).
*DATEV AddIn
This component enables the integration of DATEV into SwyxWare. DATEV contact data and the telephony function are thus merged with SwyxIt! Classic (16 VisualContacts and DATEV).
*TAPI Service Provider
TAPI allows you to make phone calls from third-party applications (App. A: Telephoning from Third Party Applications).
*Swyx Meeting - Internal and external
With Swyx Meeting you can start your online meeting directly from your browser without having to download any additional software. For further information, see help.enreach.com/meeting/1.00/web/Swyx/en-US/.
*Auth0 Authentication
With this component, you can use the identity provider Auth0 to log on to SwyxIt! Classic.
If you choose "Typical" when installing SwyxIt! Classic, der Grafische Skript Editor will be installed. The "Outlook AddIn" or "Lotus/IBM/HCL Notes AddIn" components are only installed if a corresponding Outlook version or Lotus/IBM/HCL Notes is installed on your computer.
SwyxIt! Classic Functions
*Desktop link
A link is automatically created on the desktop during installation.
*Add SwyxIt! Classic to Startup group
SwyxIt! Classic is automatically added to the Startup group during installation; i.e., it is automatically started each time Windows is started.
*Quickstart documentation
A link to the "Quickstart" guide is created in the Start menu during installation. This document consists of a PDF file that you can print out for speedy reference.
If you choose "Typical" when installing SwyxIt! Classic, all three functions will be installed.
SwyxFax Client:
*SwyxFax Client
You can use SwyxFax Client to send and receive documents by fax and manage them. To use SwyxFax Client, you need the option pack "SwyxFax". See also help.enreach.com/cpe/latest.version/FaxClient/Swyx/en-US/index.html#context/help/faxclient_$.
*Desktop link
A link is automatically created on the desktop during installation.
* Add SwyxFax Client to Startup group
SwyxFax Client is automatically added to the Startup group during installation; i.e., it is automatically started each time Windows is started.
If you choose "Typical" when installing, the SwyxFax Client will be installed. However, no desktop link will be set up, and SwyxFax Client will not be added to the Startup group.
If you want to modify the scope of the functions later, execute the installation file again, select "Modify" and change the settings accordingly.
