7.11 Uninstalling
Swyx is uninstalled through the Control Panel.

In " SwyxON, " Swyx must be uninstalled by the service provider.

How to Uninstall Swyx
1 If the Active Directory extension is installed, remove it before uninstalling using the IpPbxAdExtConfig program in the Swyx program directory.
2 Open the Windows Control Panel (Start | Settings | Control Panel).
3 Double-click on "Software".
4 Under "Change or Remove Programs," select the "SwyxWare" option.
5 Click on "Remove".
6 Confirm the message asking if you really want to uninstall Swyx by clicking "Yes."
The uninstall process will be carried out automatically.
7 Click on "Close" to close the window.
During uninstallation, any files used in connection with Swyx that were not copied to the server's hard drive during installation will not be deleted.
The database holding the SwyxServer user and configuration data is not deleted, regardless of whether this is installed on the same computer or on another computer. If necessary, it should be deleted manually.
8 Delete database:
In a Swyx for Data Center environment, uninstall the database in the same way as you installed it, following Microsoft's instructions.
To delete a Swyx database, uninstall the Microsoft Data Engine and then delete the files
ippbx.mdf
ippbx_log.ldf
in the directory C:\Programs\Microsoft SQL Server\data. C:\Programs\Microsoft SQL Server is the MSDE installation directory.
If you have uninstalled the Microsoft Data Engine, you must restart your computer once before you can reinstall MSDE and Swyx.
