2.3 Set up supervisors
A supervisor monitors the teams and queues assigned to them in VisualGroups in the course of the day. See 5 Supervisor dashboard.
You can set up experienced users as supervisors and assign them specific queues and users as agents.
 
A special license is required for the supervisor functionality. This license must be assigned to a Swyx user account and is not automatically transferable, see help.enreach.com/controlcenter/14.25/web/Swyx/en-US/#context/help/online_licensing_$
 
On the Supervisors page, you can see all configured supervisors with the supervisor name, the time of the last activity and the number of assigned queues and users.
You can use the Search for supervisor input window to filter for a search term. The search is applied to all columns.
URL of the supervisor dashboard
The current dashboard URL is displayed under the list of supervisors, e.g.: http://<SwyxServer>:<port>/visualgroups/supervisorvg.aspx.
Eeach supervisor can access their dashboard via this URL.
To add new supervisors
 
Check the total number of supervisor licenses.
You cannot add any more supervisors or save your additional configuration if the number of available licenses is exceeded.
 
1 Select Supervisors in the main menu of the web portal.
2 Click on Add.
*The Add supervisors page appears.
3 If necessary, select a group whose users you want to display from the drop-down list.
4 Select the checkbox in the line of the user you want to add as a supervisor or select the checkbox in the User name title line to add all users in the list.
5 Click on to move the selected users to the Assigned Supervisors list.
6 Click on Save.
*The selected users are set up as supervisors and can then be edited.
To assign queues and agents to a supervisor
1 Select Supervisors in the main menu of the web portal.
2 Activate the checkbox in the line of a supervisor and click on Edit.
3 In the Refresh rate in "seconds" field, enter how often the view of the Supervisor dashboard should be refreshed.
4 Specify which queues the supervisor is allowed to manage: Activate Assign all queues or assign selected queues using the arrow icons.
5 Optional: If you want to assign individual users or groups, deactivate the Assign all users checkbox.
*The list of users appears.
*If necessary, select a group whose users you want to display from the drop-down list.
*Activate the checkbox in the line of the user you want to assign to the supervisor.
*Click on to move the selected users to the Assigned users list.
6 Click on Save.
*The selected queues and agents are assigned to the supervisor.
